Went out Saturday AM, rode from Lanctot's to Drew Lake. Conditions were fair at best. The Vally Trail was thin and icy. East Weare was the best, with some bare spots and mostly icy. Drew Lake was very wet, a lot of water on top of ice. Came back via Brown's Field and that was full of water and a few bare spots. The mountain was pretty thin at the top, but great on the other side heading back to Cold Springs. The WWW website called it best, you need studs and fan cooled, not much lubrication for liquid cooled sleds. The groomers did a good job putting snow over the bare spots where they could, we just need MORE SNOW! Hopefully tonight's storm will bring us back to some great riding. Now, if we could only get Stumpfield open again...
